REBUILDING TOGETHER OKC HIRES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jennifer Thurman of Oklahoma City will join the Rebuilding Together OKC Staff

 

Oklahoma City – Rebuilding Together OKC hired a new Executive Director to serve the non-profit organization.  Mrs. Jennifer Thurman of Oklahoma City will begin this new position on February 25.  Thurman previously served as the Deputy Director for the Homeless Alliance in Oklahoma City.

Jennifer attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts majoring in Political Science, followed by Harvard University, where she received a Masters in Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Management.  She had dedicated her life to serving the Oklahoma City metro area, working for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma as Development Coordinator and also the College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma as Director of Development.

In addition, Mrs. Thurman is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City and a former board member of the Wes Welker Foundation.  She is an active member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and is an Education, Policy and Advocacy committee member for the Oklahoma Alliance of Nonprofits.  Jennifer is married to Dale, and the two have a young daughter.
