In addition to our annual "Work Day" event, Rebuilding Together OKC hosts two fundraising events each year. All proceeds from these events benefit Rebuilding Together programs, helping us to continue our mission of making free home repairs for low-income senior citizens that allow them to continue to live in their homes safe, warm, and dry.

7th Annual Rebuilding Together Construction Derby
DATE: Sunday, October 10, 2010
LOCATION: NW 5th Street between Walker and Shartel
The vehicles had to incorporate at least four items commonly used to make home modifications and repairs in the homes of elderly homeowners in their construction. The entries used materials that include bathtubs, commodes, doors, grab bars, handrails, hand-held showers, shingles, and door knobs. The cars could not have motorized, mechanical, or fluid power of any kind.
